Less than a month to go

Today we did some shopping.  I got an LED flashlight that I hope will do the trick when the electricity goes out at night.  Apparently electricity is often intermittent in Africa, so having a light is essential.  I also found some good shoes that will be comfortable and versatile for walking in the city and elsewhere.  I bought a travel purse/bag with is like Peter's with a sturdy cross strap and room for my iPad.  I think I can also carry my camera in it.
